Queen of Procrastination

I have been doing my absolute best to procrastinate until the very last possible minute...I'm supposed to be working on my two essays for my history final. Instead, I've painted my nails and joined a bunch of diaryrings. I even made a trip to Walgreen's for lipstick and chocolate truffles. This is not a good sign.

I suppose that I should show you why I'm procrastinating so very badly. The teacher decided to make it a little bit easier on us as far as the questions go. He's only going to be flipping a coin between two questions instead of three. But good grief, these are some crazy questions:

1) Part One: Explain the idea behind popular sovereignty, and explain the role of popular sovereignty in the sectional crisis that occurred between 1815 and 1861.

Part Two: Examine the American political system between 1815 and 1861, and the causes which lead to the Civil War.

2) Part One: Discuss the North's military strategy during the Civil War, and identify the battles that represented important turning points in the war.

Part Two: Discuss the cost and effects of the Civil War and the major factors that led to the North Victory.

I have to have at least 5 pages for each question. Of course, 5 pages on the computer, and 5 pages handwritten are two totally different things...but still...

So you see what I'm up against. I'm hoping that this only takes me around 2-3 hours to accomplish. Otherwise I'm going to be up late tomorrow night when I get out of work trying to finish it up. If that happens I'll be all groggy during the test, and might fall asleep at Mandy's. We can't let that happen.

I'm still missing one of my history books too. I've looked EVERYWHERE. It's like it developed legs and ran away. It's going to cause me to fail the smaller part of the exam. I'm so bummed about this. I'll have to do one more search tonight before I go to bed...damnit.

Nothing else of consequence has really happened today. I got my first iced cappuccino in 2 weeks today because I couldn't get rid of my headache. Now I feel like a million bucks. Too funny.

Bah. I guess I better go. Have some music. I'm having a SUGIZO moment, so you're getting some LUNA SEA. The song is called "Tonight."
