Lunchtime Babylon

Things have been pretty slow for me the last few days. I've pretty much been a workaholic actually. I still have 4 more days to go before I get another day off. It's okay though, because I need the money. But who doesn't? I even picked up some more hours on Wednesday since Melissa called in. So I'm getting 37 hours next week. So now I'm happy. Well, I will be when I get my paycheck. I honestly hate the fact that that has anything at all to do with my happiness... I think I've said that before.

I'm on my lunch break right now killing some time. Blargh. It's Friday, so it's hella busy at the store. I've been doing pretty well though. Haven't had too many customers back in electronics, so I've been able to get a few things done. Whoo. I guess...

Mandy and Matt are spending the week at his sister's place. Her nieces went away to camp for 5 days, and her parents wanted some alone time. So yeah. They go bye bye. It's been kinda lonely over here. I haven't been over to see them for a few weeks now, and I don't see myself getting the opportunity to anytime soon. I'm hoping they say yes about going to see the fireworks with me on the 5th in Bay City. I'm not going to get my hopes up though. I'm just going to assume that they are going to tell me no.

I haven't talked to clingy boy in a few days. I've kinda been avoiding him a bit even though I told him we could still be friends. Apparently he's all depressed and doesn't like himself now. Wah. Cry me a fuckin' river. This isn't high school emo boy. Get OVER IT. He's all "I give up on women...fuck 'em!" Yeah right. No guy ever actually says that and means it. Well, unless he's gay. But that's an entirely different story.

In other news, I finally got some high quality scans of the GazettE from the ARENAC37c Photobook for 2008. The pictures are absolutely stunning, and that's putting it mildly. here are my two favorite shots of Aoi:

Well, I think that's all I've got for the moment. I have to go scarf down the rest of my lunch and get my butt back to work.
